COLUMBIA - VETERANS PARK

Columbia Park is the site of the old Columbia Elementary School The school opened in 1907 amd closed in 1950. The park is centrally located, near core neighborhoods and the business district. The park is located one block away from the North 9th Street, “Little Italy Main Street”, and the local VFW post. The park is also located one block south of the Hillcrest Community Center, which is the place where most immigrants entering the community passed through.
